We are pumped for our third season on the farm. The weather has fluctuated, trending cold and wet. We welcomed a rescue puppy named Wilbur in March. At 6 months and 60# he’s bound to be a big boy. Rosie loves him but will never admit it. Planted a bunch more fruit crops for the future. The air is thick with newly opening lilacs and black flies are swarming. There’s no place I’d rather be.
Sure was dry out there. In the spring Jenny Nelson and Maine Farmland Trust came out and took some great shots of mud season check it out. We were awarded a greenhouse from NRCS the winter of 2016. WE ARE STOKED! Thank you for your tax dollars.
